News & Events

As a student that went to Bridgeport ISD from K-12th grade, when I got my teaching certificate I knew Bridgeport ISD was where I wanted to teach. To have great role models to look up to as a student, I knew I wanted to be another one for future generations. I have made relationships that have lasted with staff members and classmates and now past and present students. Bridgeport ISD is home and will always be.Amanda Serafin, Special Education Teacher

Teaching isn't just a job for me; it's my passion, and teaching at BISD has brought me great joy. Inspiring young minds and being part of a supportive community fills me with purpose every day.Kristi Chapman, Third Grade Teacher
